Governing Board | Connecticut Returned Peace Corps Volunteers

Jon served as an Adult Education Volunteer and USAID Small Business Project Coordinator in Limon, Costa Rica from 1992-1994. Jon is a lawyer who specializes in developing effective Ethics & Compliance programs for global business. Jon enjoys discovering great ethnic foods with his wife and two sons, New England craft beer, and hiking and mountain biking around Connecticut.

Allegra has worked in development for 20 years, beginning with her Peace Corps experience in Gabon. She is currently the executive director of Le Korsa, an NGO working in the health, education, and agricultural sectors of Senegal. She has a passion for social justice and female empowerment, and earned a masters degree in women’s studies where she focused on the role of women in international development. In her free time Allegra is an avid hockey mom, and loves books, dogs, and gardening, which she learned during her time in Gabon. She enjoys travel and visiting new countries where she always brings home fun new recipes to try in the kitchen.

Jonathan served as an Education and Youth Development Volunteer in Paraguay from 2011 – 2013. He works for Connecticut State Colleges and Universities as a Paralegal Specialist. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys going to his nephew’s baseball games and playing in the park with his dog, Sushi.

Claude is a web developer who no longer lives in Connecticut, but still has fond feelings for the state and the RPCV group. He currently lives in Seattle and enjoys the great outdoors.
